One of our more Urban adventures, we kayaked through London’s oldest canal from Limehouse to Crate Brewery’s bar on the water’s edge in Hackney Wick. At just over 5km, the route followed the Limehouse Cut and River Lea with houseboats and warehouses along the way. Though a very different setting to kayaking in the beautiful countryside (the River Lea is not a river you would want to fall into!), was a lot of fun and something a bit different!
We arrived at dusk with the lights of a very cool Hackney Wick a glow, parked up our Kayaks and enjoyed a couple of pints to end our day.
We booked our urban kayaking with Moo Canoes via secretadeventures.com.
