Bath
Following last years weekend away in the Lake District, this year we cemented our new annual girls weekend away tradition with a trip to Bath.

July 2023
On a sunny but cooler Sunday in July, we went to visit the Kyoto garden in Holland Park.
Less than an hour from London, we escaped to Surrey for an immersive day of seasonally inspired wild fire cooking nestled beneath trees and surrounded by bluebells.
March 2023
For a postponed 30th birthday present, we stepped back in time to a golden age of travel aboard beautifully restored art deco carriages with polished marquetry and plush textiles and brass luggage racks and silken lampshades. As we departed from London Victoria we settled into our deep arm chairs, glass of chilled champagne in hand, excited for our round-trip journey ahead.
March 2023
As one of my 2023 resolutions is to do a woodworking project I signed up to a woodworking tasting evening at the London school of furniture making.
August 2022
We escaped the city (and the heat!) with a ladies trip to Whistable. The cool coastal breeze and a swim in the sea was a very welcome break from the prolonged record breaking temperatures in London. We set up camp along the pebble beach where we enjoyed fish and chips with champagne, and later on oysters from The Forge with a bottle of Chapel Down English sparkling wine from the popular Offy. Whitstable is know for its oysters so having a few was a must!
April 2022
To celebrate spring we escaped the city to Brockenhurst village in the New Forest. This lovely little rural village is less than two hours from London, and home to native free roaming ponies.
January 2022
Blessed with beautiful weather and armed with homemade trail mix of left over Christmas nuts and chocolate, our year began with a New Year’s Day walk amongst the Surrey Hills, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
